The Great Saunders Health Quest - Day 1

My head hurts.  My body cries out for food.  I'm grumpy and short-tempered.  I must be on a diet.

We did good, today.  Breakfast was an egg and a half (fried), a piece of ham, and a banana with a small glass of milk and a big glass of water.  Lunch was at New China, but no buffet!  Ordered off the menu, which was comical, as it completely threw our waitress off.  Had shrimp and vegetables with steamed rice (which I only ate a few bites of, since it was a mountain of rice) and hot/sour soup with two glasses of water.  Dinner was egg salad on a piece of toast, some grapes, water, and some popcorn afterward with another tiny glass of milk.

Nate took his special brand of help a step farther, today.  Instead of just leaving goldfish laying everywhere, he was literally trying to force them into my mouth.  I almost gave in, but I defied his cuteness, confusing the poor little guy.  He got over it.

Today was when things really started getting hard: watching my brother eating cheese buns, my grandmother eating ice cream, smelling everything in the world (I could probably track a burger a couple of miles).  Still, I'm enthused.  Although, between the mild day-long headache, and the sleepiness from a lack of sugar and caffeine, I could have gotten in bed and slept like a baby around 7:30 this evening.
