The Great Saunders Health Quest - Day 2

Today was much better than yesterday.  Toward this evening, the haze of caffeine and sugar withdrawals lifted, and I feel pretty normal, now.  I know these first few days are important, as the last times I tried to diet the desire for a healthy lifestyle was gone in the first 2 or so.  I'm also using the MyFitnessPal app on my phone, which is helping me keep track of everything throughout the day.

Breakfast - 1 fried egg, 1 banana, 1 small glass of milk, 1 large glass of water
Lunch - egg salad on a slice of toast, water
Dinner - Ruby Tuesday - 1 slider, two trips to the salad bar, water
Snacks - grapes, a few bites of popcorn, an apple

The slider wasn't in the plan, but I ate so light the rest of the day that I thought it would be ok.  I did manage to tame my desire to snatch fries off of the kids' plates...repeatedly.  I also, again, endured Nate trying to cram goldfish in my mouth.  I know they are actually a pretty healthy snack, but it's just so hard to only eat a few that I'm safer staying away from them.  I just don't need an adorable one-year-old trying to convince me to snack.

Craving: It sleeted last night. I really wanted my traditional meal of tomato soup, grilled cheese and hot chocolate.
